Duracron
Duracron extrusion coatings are spray-applied, one-coat systems. Based on thermosetting acrylic resin technology, they provide the benchmark of performance in quality aluminum extrusion finishes. For architectural applications, Duracron extrusion coatings meet the physical test requirement of AAMA 2603 specifications and offer great film integrity, color control and mar resistance. Our Duracron finish is a wet applied baked enamel that is factory applied in a PPG monitored facility.
Kynar
Kynar extrusion coatings are two-coat systems consisting of a corrosion inhibitive primer and a fluoropolymer topcoat. A Kynar finish on railing applications protects against the detrimental effects of weather and atmospheric conditions. Being a high performance, low maintenance paint finish, Kynar carries our highest warranty protection. Kynar extrusion coatings have demonstrated proven performance on exterior aluminum surfaces. It is highly resistant to chalking, fading, chipping and peeling when properly applied by an approved applicator. Kynar coatings resist dirt collection and chemical staining and can significantly reduce maintenance and restoration costs over time. They meet AAMA 2605 performance specifications and are the architectural extrusion coatings of choice when exceptional durability and performance are required. Our Kynar finish is a wet applied baked enamel that is factory applied in a PPG monitored facility.
Kynar is the primary choice of architects for applications in coastal areas due to its lower susceptibility to corrosive ocean environments.
Kynar XL is recommended for oceanfront properties with the highest level of exposure to salt air and sand erosion.
Anodized
Anodizing is an electrochemical process that thickens and toughens the naturally occurring protective oxide. The resulting finish is the second hardest known substance (diamond being the first). The anodic coating is part of the metal, but has a porous structure which allows secondary infusions, (i.e. organic and inorganic coloring). Anodizing offers strength, color durability, low maintenance and eco-friendly processing. Our anodized finish is factory applied in a PPG monitored facility.
