Meet Lindsey, the Director of Human Resources at AAP. Starting as a Secretary back in 2004, Lindsey embarked on a journey of growth, exploring various avenues before returning to AAP in a pivotal role. While Lindsey is not working, she can be found cheering on her two teenage boys as they dominate high school baseball and travel ball tournaments. With a true love for the beach, she finds solace in the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of the sun. Kyle first joined our team as a Shop Assistant in 2013 and has worked in multiple roles including Shop Foreman, Commercial Project Manager, Draftsman and has now advanced to Production Manager. Kyle transferred into the role of Production Manager for Atlantic Aluminum Products in 2022 after building a vast knowledge of AAP’s products and operations. We rely on Kyle to offer experience as well as technical and mechanical knowledge in order to develop solutions to any challenges that may arise. Kyle enjoys sports, racing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

Overseeing Atlantic Aluminum’s project management team is Senior Project Manager, Jim Oechsler. Jim joined Atlantic Aluminum in 2018, bringing with him 20 years experience managing, training and coaching team members in customer service, sales and company standards and procedures. As Senior Project Manager, Jim manages AAP installation crews, field techs and project managers. The project management department is responsible for field measurements, installation and quality control for commercial projects. The Project Management Team works with field superintendents to ensure that AAP is maintaining their customer communication network. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing baseball/softball and traveling.

The Sales Manager since 2013, Richard’s responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships and fostering their long term partnerships. He also manages the sales pipeline, while coaching and developing the sales team. Richard places a strong emphasis on exceeding customer expectations by increasing the value of and promoting building safety. Richard’s tenure with Atlantic Aluminum Products began in 2010, serving as a Commercial Sales Representative, but he quickly merged his past experience as a residential construction project manager with his new extensive product knowledge in the railing industry. Richard is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

Harold Sylvester is co-owner and Vice President of Atlantic Aluminum Products. He joined the workforce of AAP in 2000 (when it was a small garage based business) as an installation tech. Harold quickly identified the potential of AAP’s innovative products to maximize growth opportunities for the company and its employees. He wore many hats over the years, including: Installation Foreman, Sales Representative, Sales Manager, General Manager and Vice President. During his juncture as Sales Manager, one of Harold’s greatest achievements was actualizing a sales growth of over 350%. Harold’s management methodology is leadership that is approachable, adaptive and driven. Harold enjoys his down time with his wife and three children, tending to their farm and caring for their livestock.

The founder and president of Atlantic Aluminum Products, Dan Schlabach, witnessed the evolution of AAP from a small local company, to a corporation that encompasses the Mid-Atlantic region. AAP began as a humble business committed to upholding the integrity of its products, as well as commitments to its customers and team members; with Dan as its compass, Atlantic Aluminum has grown while continuing to value these core principles. A native of Delaware, Dan is on the board of directors of Delmarva Christian High School and 88.7 The Bridge. Dan currently resides in Sussex County with two of his children.

Paul Franzoni manages purchasing operations for Atlantic Aluminum Products. He ensures the balance between inventory levels and finished products by prioritizing and monitoring current and projected inventory levels based on project specific demands. Paul is a mentor to the production department and helps them achieve standards befitting of Atlantic Aluminum. Paul joined AAP in 2005 but has over 30 years in the construction industry. An avid football fan, he has been a Philadelphia Eagles season ticket holder for over 25 years.

Meet Ruben Dominguez, an invaluable Bilingual Project Management Coordinator at Atlantic Aluminum Products. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ruben plays a crucial role in bridging communication gaps for our Spanish-speaking colleagues and clients. He pursued Business Administration and Finance at Salisbury University, dedicating himself to mastering the intricacies of the field. With a strong background in retail banking, Ruben brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his position. Outside of work, Ruben’s passions take him on exciting adventures. Whether he’s exploring new landscapes through travel, cherishing moments with loved ones, or engaging in meaningful missionary work, he finds fulfillment in every endeavor. Ruben is a true sports enthusiast and can often be found on the field or court, indulging in his love for soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Despite his diverse interests and busy schedule, Ruben finds solace and purpose in his faith, regularly attending church and devoting himself to serving the Lord.

Following completion of the sales process, Mike is responsible for coordinating field measuring, material ordering and installation. With prior metal fabrication and welding experience, Brandon joined the AAP Team in 2008. During his time with AAP, Brandon quickly gained experience as a Shop Assistant, Installation Assistant, CNC Workcell Operator and Project Manager. This multifaceted range of experience has enabled Brandon to bring a unique hands-on perspective to the Estimating Team. As an Estimator, he reviews site plans, analyzes mounting conditions and performs material take-offs for the Sales Department. Brandon enjoys camping and wood working, as well as spending time with his wife and daughters.

TJ Cooper transferred into the Estimating Department in 2012. Joe Smith transitioned over to the Sales Team in 2021 as the Supply Sales Representative. He joined the AAP Team in 2012 as a Shop Assistant. During his time with AAP, Joe quickly gained experience as a Shop Assistant in the screen department and transferred to Forman for the 100 series railing department in 2019. He has strong fabrication knowledge and experience that he has carried over to the sales office. Joe would rather be with his wife and children than anywhere else.

As a Towson University Graduate of 2023, Noah is knowledgeable in the marketing, sales and entrepreneurial fields. While studying business, he worked in residential construction, allowing him to work closely with railing systems provided by AAP. While Noah is not working you can probably catch him in the woods or by the water. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys bowhunting and fishing.
