Ocean City, MD – Atlantic Aluminum Products has once again demonstrated its dedication to community and family support through a generous donation of railings to Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation. The donation will enhance the safety and appearance of new pediatric respite housing, currently under renovation on 65th Street in Ocean City, Maryland. This marks the second time that Atlantic Aluminum Products has contributed to Believe in Tomorrow’s mission, following a previous donation a decade ago that provided railings for the organization’s flagship location on 66th Street.
Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation offers unique respite facilities that provide families with critically ill children a chance to make cherished memories at the beach. This latest project on 65th Street transforms an existing building into two three-bedroom apartments with two additional efficiency units, dedicated primarily to military families and families facing a short life expectancy. The efficiency units will provide additional space for extended family or visiting healthcare providers, making the facility more accommodating to the unique needs of each family during their stay.
The project, which is on track to welcome families by Summer 2025, represents the ongoing collaboration and shared commitment of Atlantic Aluminum Products and the Foundation.
“We are very grateful and appreciative of the meaningful support Atlantic Aluminum Products is providing to our new pediatric respite building project on 65th Street in Ocean City, Maryland,” said Brian Morrison, president, and founder of The Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation. “For many years, Atlantic Aluminum has contributed to the safety and beauty of our Believe in Tomorrow Children’s House By The Sea facilities, and we are very thankful and proud of our relationship with them.”
The partnership was established through Atlantic Aluminum’s close relationships with Igor Conev, CEO of Mann Properties, and Mike Reynolds, owner of Northern Building Restoration. Both Igor and Mike are significant partners of the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation and have been instrumental in fostering this support.
“It means a great deal to us to know that our railings will contribute to a safe, welcoming space for families facing incredibly challenging times,” said Dan Schlabach, founder, and president of Atlantic Aluminum Products. “Through this partnership, we’re able to help create a place where families can connect, create memories, and experience a moment of peace and happiness at the beach.”
The Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation serves families from across the United States with children ranging from infancy to age 18, offering them a retreat experience filled with engaging activities such as mini-golf, amusement park visits, boardwalk biking, arcade games, and surf lessons. The organization’s six beachside respite homes and soon, two additional apartments will host families, providing them a chance to reconnect and make lasting memories.
